I found time to finish up a couple of paintings that have needed attention. I’m glad these are finished. Now I can justify getting out, en plein aire where these were both started. My colors and values are so much better when I work in the field. There is something about bracing against the elements that influences my eyes and hand. I look forward to the day I can count on finishing my work, right on site.
