Discipline

I want to be more disciplined. When I do go out with the right gear and the right time and focus, I manage to come back with something I am happy with and learn something from. I love the process, the absorption. I talk to myself throughout the painting, judge the work, my self, comment on the sounds and feel of the paint, give myself confidence, then take it away.

I am excited to be part of an art show at our local Grange coming quite soon, end of this month, I believe. I’ll relay details when I have more of them.

Today while I was painting, Paul was moving soil around behind me, being a boy with a big toy, having a blast, creating a new growing field.
