This time a “sweet meat”. I’m enjoying playing with these, combining brushwork with palette knife, applying the paint thickly, kind of like the dense, thickness of the skin of that squash. I have worked these square panels over and over. They have some intriguing layers, including some collage. It’s not entirely hidden, but mostly. I will make some changes to that “black forest” painting below, soon.
